About Our Farm

Dr. Suss Stables is a year-round Horse Farm that offers a horse boarding, petting zoo, horse lessons, sensory hours geared toward the special needs population and family friendly events.

Our Programs
Straight from the Farm
Horse Riding Lessons
Students build confidence, self-esteem, and leadership skills while learning to ride the horse. This program is open to private and group lessons.
Skills taught may include:

Safety awareness – Learn how to ride a horse – safely work with a horse

Horse Handling – Learn how to work with a horse – how to approach, halter, lead, tie, tack

Riding Skills – Learn how to ride – correct body position and use of natural aides (hands, legs, seat and voice), steering, gait transitions (halt, walk, trot, canter)

Girls Club

Girls Club
Ages 5-13
Sunday Mornings
Our girls club is a once a week program run during the school year. The kids participate in numerous different activities from animal care, woodworking, hiking and more. Call today to reserve a spot!
Horse Boarding
We offer turnout twice a day, blanket weather permitting, grain of your choosin. We serve fresh timothy round and square bales, and fly spray daily.

Our Petting Zoo is currently CLOSED

SENSORY SESSION
We’re proud to offer our PRIVATE sessions done in a 1:1 setting. Where you get to be full immersed in the farm.
During this time, they will groom feed and spend time with all the animals on the farm. The program is individualized per client. Reach out with any questions!

Cancellation Policy
24 hours notice is required. Otherwise you will be charged $85 regardless of package.
You may not leave a child under 10 unattended during a lesson.
Please do not bring other siblings to the lesson. Only the child receiving the lesson or session may attend.
All riding lessons/ clubs/ sensory sessions expire after 1 year from purchase
